Community theatre/performances are always the most powerful. Theatre and the performing arts always inspires its audiences and performers but using the art form within a community always sees the biggest transformations. Taking part in 'Us' at Bristol Old Vic was a privilege. Getting to work with Adam Peck was a fantastic learning experience. Unconventionally looking at how do we not perform on stage? How do we be just 'ourselves'? Our work looked at these questions as the group devised and performed the piece. I have taken a lot of the practice into my own work. Is it possible to just 'be you' on a stage? or simply in front of a group of people?
